Are you an experienced Family Lawyer looking for a role that offers flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to do meaningful work?
LMC Lawyers is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and capable Family Lawyer to join our growing team.
We understand that the traditional office-based working arrangement isn’t for everyone. We’re open to flexible working arrangements and would consider the right person working remotely, provided they are self-sufficient, organised and confident managing their own workload.
About the role
You will work across a range of family law matters, including:
– Parenting and children’s matters.
– Property and financial settlements.
– Divorce applications.
– Binding Financial Agreements.
– Negotiations, mediation and dispute resolution.
– Preparation of court documents and correspondence.
– Managing client relationships and progressing matters towards resolution.
You will be responsible for managing your own files, communicating with clients and other practitioners, and ensuring matters progress efficiently and strategically.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
– Experienced in family law and confident managing their own matters.
– Motivated, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in helping clients.
– Self-sufficient and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Proactive, organised and good at managing competing priorities.
– An excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills.
– Practical in their approach and focused on achieving good outcomes for clients.
– Comfortable working remotely and maintaining regular communication with the team, if that is their preferred arrangement.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys what they do and wants to be part of a supportive team.
Flexibility is important to us
We are happy to consider different working arrangements, including:
– Full-time or part-time opportunities.
– Hybrid working arrangements.
– Predominantly remote working for the right candidate.
We are more interested in finding the right person than insisting on a particular working arrangement.
Our recruitment process

1. Initial interview via Zoom – an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss your experience, expectations and what you’re looking for.
2. Second-round interview in person – for shortlisted candidates, so we can meet face-to-face and explore whether we’re the right fit for each other.
